I have been trying for a long time not to visit shops and bazaars designed for tourists, but I go to the places where locals are bought, there are lower prices, and you can find something unusual as a souvenir to friends or as a keepsake.

And as for the monkeys - they are always a bug, when they are seen, it is better for tourists to pick up on cameras and other trifles that may interest them, otherwise they will just whistle. Local guides are really ready to inexpensively show and tell everything you want, there is a great risk of running into scammers who are only interested in money. Although you can find it for an inexpensively interesting option, I say from my own experience, well, that is if you prepare for the trip in advance and know what you really want to see and how much it can cost on average. And with local guides you can recklessly bargain, as in principle with any traders around the world.

Frantic poverty and a riot of colors - that’s all of Nepal .. that’s all of Asia .. Maybe that's why I love these places. Extraordinary beauty, which we do not have, but terrifying poverty and dirt everywhere. It’s just a completely different life and a different mentality, that's what interests me. Really new impressions and vivid emotions, in fact for this I love travel.

Last year too, I was lucky enough to visit this amazing place. It may even seem to many that unsanitary conditions are present here, but this is not so, the streets of the city are pretty clean, the food they sell here is cooked under normal conditions. It was surprising that the monkeys here are not at all afraid of people, running right along the street. I drew attention to the fact that there are many amazing monuments and structures that are hundreds of years old. Here, really, there is something to see for a tourist who came to these amazing lands for the first time. The nature outside the city limits is also beautiful, it is simply amazing what air is here, at least polluted by exhaust gases, not touched by the chemical industry. People here are calm, friendly. For all the time that I was here, I have not seen a single quarrel. Residents are always happy to tell the lost tourist the way, even without problems they are allowed to take pictures with them. I bought a lot of unusual souvenirs here, which are sold at every corner at ridiculous prices. Until now, under the impression of this place, I have never been to such places before. I hope to come back here sometime, have experienced the same pleasant emotions.

Mom and I often travel. Love various places and attractions. The time has come to go to the city, which may not seem quite beautiful but very historical and also possessing various mountain surfaces. I'm talking about the city of Nepal, a city that can change your worldview. And now my mother and I are sitting on the plane and almost reached the place of arrival. When we ended up at the airport and left for the first neighborhoods of the city, at first I had a not very pleasant feeling. All the neighborhoods did not look presentable. A lot of city people looked exhausted, as if they were working without rest. But when we went on excursions everything changed. A lot of historical attractions outside the city itself. We also saw the magnificent mountain ranges, which beckoned to us. In general, I have only the best memories from the city. Yes, it may not be so clean and beautiful, but it is enough to plunge into its past, you immediately understand that it was not in vain that I visited this corner in this world. We plan again to fly here with my mother, but already for two weeks, to find out a lot more historical facts.

I love to travel and I hooked my young man with whom I recently visited Nepal on this matter. I wanted to visit Nepal more than my boyfriend, but he had to keep me company on the trip)) Already after the trip I came across this photo story, which seemed to me very interesting and informative for those who did not manage to visit Nepal. We also visited Kathmandu, where we visited the Hindu temple complex Pashupatinath. Such a huge number of monkeys, as there I have never seen in my life anywhere. The photos in this photo story are very funny. We also photographed monkeys, but we did not succeed in making such interesting photographs (unfortunately). Public cremation is not for the faint of heart and I didn’t really want to watch this picture, although my boyfriend was delighted. We also saw Everest, otherwise it was all right to fly there so as not to see the main sight!)) The photographs we got from the plane are not bad, but still they look more spectacular in this photo story. Unfortunately, we did not manage to go to Bakhtapur, but the next time we will definitely visit it. I consider the trip to Nepal even more successful than I imagined.

In my life, I’ve been to Nepal three times. This is really an amazing place in which I recommend visiting absolutely everyone. Very poor, but extremely attractive for tourists. A huge number of all kinds of strange buildings, poor areas, in which there is simply a huge number of diverse merchants and artisans who do simply incredible things.
From an aesthetic point of view, Nepal cannot be considered an attractive and beautiful place. It can be called attractive in terms of curiosity.
I really liked the fact that life here is really in full swing. This can even be understood from the photographs presented here. In Nepal, almost always, when I was there, the weather is sunny and calm - it really pleases.
The streets are always full of people - they all do something, go somewhere, do something. The most crowded places are naturally residential areas and markets where it is simply impossible to take a step.
In general, I would boldly recommend visiting Nepal, since this is a very interesting place to study, here is a completely different, in its own way attractive culture, a minimum of civilization and friendly people.

I really love to visit various unusual places. Also recently decided to visit Nepal. Although, I think that it’s very peaceful. In addition, I really liked their tourist area, where you can buy various souvenirs, and their choice, believe me, is very huge. I did not climb Everest). There were such beautiful temples in several towns and everywhere. People are truly believers - I was very impressed. Yes, by the way, I also noticed that the monkeys are a bit strange. Yes, it turns out to be very unusual for people living and working there to be filmed by television from other countries. In addition, his outfit was very impressive. And the tradition that monkeys eat up everything that was not cremated is generally terrible. In addition, it is unfortunate that children are allowed to swim in the river with ashes from a person. Although, when viewed from the other side, they are most likely so-called "hardened" to such a state of the river. The many statuettes and amulets sold to tourists are very impressive. Moreover, any seller will tell his story about why this or that amulet is for and what it will help to do. some, I want to note, are really very beautiful and simply impressive. Probably each of us would like to visit the places where you have been. Yes, not every country is rich and not in every country they go on the asphalt to their favorite job, not everyone can learn and achieve success. All these factors depend directly on living conditions, economic situation and the population, which will do everything for the development of their state. Here is an example of Nepal, from a lot of your photographs, I saw that these people, not that they are destroying themselves, are just the same for them all, the same as for India and several other countries. sanitation, of course, is very terrible here, but it's still interesting to look at the life of people and their culture. What will happen if you imagine yourself in their place? People live and try to earn as much as they can, try to eat as best they can, feed their family and their beloved. For some reason, I am attracted to such countries. I want to help people like them. For me, to be honest, even Europe is not an indicator, because if you look at their policies and how people live, this is not good. There are no people, because for them the main thing is money, as well as for many. But compared to the Nepalese, they have completely different attributes of the "poor." People like them have a conscience and morality. Looking at their slums, you can, of course, get scared and think how they live like that, but they were born in these slums and are fully equipped. Although, judging by the photo, they don’t have many attractions, they still have it and I think that the number of monkeys is due to this. I saw in the photo both old people, and children, and mothers with fathers, but most importantly, I did not see despair and hopelessness in their eyes. They are simply glad that the Lord God gives them.

I will say as frankly as the author at the beginning of the photo story: I did not expect such a trip to Nepal. More precisely, I did not expect that I would see so many shades of gray in the photographs - smoke, fog, tired people wandering along the street. In terms of emotional fullness, the pictures seemed very difficult to me. Perhaps due to the fact that some of the first shots were placed where cremation was captured. I knew in Nepal there is a tradition of burning the dead, but I never thought how hard it is to see it. I literally felt a smell, looking at the pictures. Pleasure is doubtful, but she immediately understood: Christian traditions are much closer to me. The monkeys eating the unburned human remains shocked me altogether. And before the author of the photo story about Nepal mentioned this, I was happy to look at macaques, behaving almost like people. It’s probably not macaques, I don’t know what kind of species it is, but the muzzles are very arrogant. By the way, smiling female and male faces, photographed on the streets of Kathmandu, perfectly enlivened the report. Pictures from a walk on the second day are much brighter. What sways the Himalayas and Everest, I’m sure, sitting on the plane, without a guide girl, I would also not be able to distinguish the peak of the Jomolungma from other mountains. If we talk about the impression as a whole, this trip to Nepal, even if it was virtual for me, because I just watched the photo, it turned out interesting and unexpected. Some pictures became a real discovery of another world.

After reviewing your article and photo I seemed to be back in the year before last: then my husband and I traveled a lot and fell into Nepal. They lived just in the Thamel region, there were at that moment a lot of tourists there.

There are things that I didn’t like in Nepal: it’s very dusty there, plus the locals are too arrogant and intrusive. We bought an audio guide in advance, planned expenses, made several routes for ourselves (taking into account various stories and blog posts, we made a list of places that are worth visiting and distributed them in small groups for several days). In principle, in a week we would easily fit into our plan, but stayed there for two, because it was very interesting to travel to the surrounding villages and villages.

People in Nepal are generally a separate topic for discussion. Apart from a couple of obsessive merchants, people in this country are very friendly, nice, and some kind of peaceful ones. Here children run fearlessly through the streets unattended, but they are very obedient and willingly help their mothers with the housework (we watched these paintings during a tour of the villages, that is, the so-called “everyday” overview of Nepalese life).

Of course, local unsanitary conditions cannot but affect. The first 3 days I was shocked by the fact that people here do not just survive, but live peacefully for generations. Once we passed meta-cremation - we didn’t appear there anymore, because I was too impressionable. And the monkeys after that spectacle did not cause such emotion))))

This is how I imagined this country, the population looks very much like the Indians, which is not surprising, since they are nearby. They live modestly and calmly, harmony reigns in this country, there are no terrorists and all kinds of confrontations, therefore trips do not pose any danger for tourists. Children will definitely like it there, because the streets are full of monkeys that live in packs, you can probably feed them and no one will scold them, because they are there, like our homeless cats and dogs. Their ancient architectural structures, which could stand for centuries and remain in good condition, are impressive. It also speaks of the rich culture of this people, which in the past was well developed and did not remain until recently at the level of primitive people. Unfortunately in Afghanistan, radicals are barbarously destroying grandiose Buddha statues, which is a crime. ISIS is rampant in Iraq, which is also blowing up buildings of global value. Let's hope that in Nepal this will never happen and tourists can always visit these places without worrying about their lives. Especially cool was the last photo, which is full of signs.

I do not understand how people can live in such conditions, I do not understand their aspirations and beliefs. Their traditions seem wild to me. I would go there just to visit the mountains.
The inhabitants of Nepal have completely different priorities and values than the "European man." Maybe I have not yet reached that level of spiritual development in order to understand their foundations, but still ...
But I respect these people without limit. Everyone knows about the fearlessness of the Nepalese Gurkhas. As you know, they have not submitted to any conquerors in history.
So I’ll add a little that Nepal is known throughout the world for its traditional weapon - Khurki. This knife is used both in military operations and in everyday life.
For information, this weapon is in service and is still used today, unlike the dagger, for example. This weapon has passed into the category of trophy.
Of course I would like to visit Nepal. Get to know more about their culture and values. I am convinced that their culture is highly spiritual and if you recognize it, you may have to rethink your life, some actions!

I read that there is no sewage system, so drink water only from bottles and be sure to wash food also with water only from bottles. In general, of course, I want to visit there only for the sake of nature, mountains, mountain air, this atmosphere, which attracts tourists from all over the world. In vain the author wrote about the plastered peasants, in fact, there are many such people who are estranged from the world, who have chosen to serve the Gods as their goal in life. And this is an ordinary thing, they are found on the streets. True, I did not see it with my own eyes, but I read a lot on the Internet. Something about geography has become quite bad for me. For some reason I decided that Nepal was Africa and hoped to see exclusively blacks in the photographs. Without reading the beginning, she began to look at the photo and saw not the blacks at all. I had to go back and start reading to understand where this article will lead me. It turned out that these places are much closer than Africa. An honest warning of the author of the article set up for reality and the very first photo was not a surprise. Well, not everywhere they live like in the Emirates or similar oases of prosperity and contentment. Even the tourist area, where goods should seem to be shown by their faces, does not look respectable. I see something poor and colorful in the photo. Especially unusual are the cows walking in the streets. The temple complex was also not impressive. As it’s all a bit low for the temples. But the number of monkeys was impressive. if one monkey can bring great damage, then this is a huge amount of what can do? Further on the photo you can see that they walk along the street like stray dogs. Stunned photo with cremation sites. Where else do you see this ?? The photo seemed very scary, but judging by the fact that it can be taken openly, we can conclude that Nepalis do not see anything out of the ordinary in this. On the other side of the street, people calmly walk themselves and do not pay attention to the fact that on the other side human corpses are burned. A photograph. where human legs stick out of the fire. generally amazing. Simple as that. Throwing human dust into water in general is beyond human understanding! We put in an urn and cherish the dust of a dear person. And here .. water .. If I hadn’t read that these photos were taken in Nepal, I would not be able to distinguish Nepalese from Indians. They are simply indistinguishable both in appearance and in clothing. Further looking at the street photos gives an understanding that the streets are not at all dirty. they are just poor and quite smoked. I wonder what is heated there in the winter? The central square looks very exotic, all in one color of red brick. somewhat gloomy, in general there is still an ensemble. From all that we have seen, we can conclude: natural species are quite beautiful, and what is done by human hands, except for temples, looks to put it mildly. not quite nice for the tourist eye.

Photos are really cool, thumb up from me! In general, Nepal has always been considered not only a place where there are peculiar mystical places of power that are supposedly in the Himalayas and which have incredibly strong energy. It is also a place where the cultures of several peoples of the world come together, and religion as well, if you remember that there are Buddhists, Islamists, Jains and many other religious groups. And most interestingly, they just get along well there. What is interesting is that the inhabitants of Nepal themselves managed to maintain their independence centuries later, after those times when they were overwhelmed under the rule of China, if my memory serves me, and some other states. Although the person who is not very familiar with geography and who was not told that he is in Nepal can easily confuse this country with India, because the cows roaming the streets of the cities, which are also considered sacred here, or with the same China, because the many inhabitants of this country are Asians and, accordingly, the traditions that are prevalent here, are in China. I would not say that their capital is a large and modern city. Rather, it also resembles a place of collision of several cultures and even several eras, because here are adjacent buildings that were built including BC, and those buildings that were erected in the last century, and modern houses. Nepalese cherish their culture, their traditions and their architecture, they respect their ancestors, relatives and this has long been part of their mentality. I am not particularly attracted to the fact that they burn their relatives and then dump their remains into the Ganges River, however this is also part of their daily life and the philosophical concept of death. Although I personally do not see anything good in the fact that then they wash themselves in the water with the remains of burnt dead people and even drink it, because this is terrible unsanitary conditions. But whatever it was, but to visit Nepal is still necessary for every person who wants to touch antiquity and see firsthand many outlandish things that for Europeans can be a real shock.

Honesty is always captivating. Literally the first phrase the author put all the dots over i - admitted that he does not like Asian countries. And it is felt. There are more than a hundred photographs in the photo story, almost all of this dislike. The exception is smiling female faces. Girls in Nepal are smiling lightly and openly, and this was conveyed. Whether it is a guide stewardess aboard an airplane flying to Everest, or a young girl accidentally met on the street, her face is transformed by a smile and the photographer skillfully captures this amazing moment. Nepal, judging by the photographs, appeared before the eyes of the author of the blog as a prosaic poor country, where even “glasses in the dust”. (And in confirmation of this - a very picturesque photo of a tray with carbonated water bottles for sale, covered with a thick layer of dust.) Dust, desolation ... Against this background - ostentatious "brightness" for tourists. Much can be attributed to the showy in Nepal - men "with a thick layer of plaster", shopping arcades with fruits and vegetables, countless souvenir figurines. Perhaps there is only one group of pictures, making which the photographer enjoyed. These are photographs of the Himalayas. The palette changes dramatically - from dusty yellow-gray to bright blue and white. Snow-capped mountain peaks and clouds look like a whole, and I, through the eyes of a photographer, see another Nepal - crystal clear, pristine. There is no trace of the presence of man in it. And you immediately realize that a trip to Nepal was undertaken precisely for these frames. The atmosphere of flight in the aircraft was also able to convey. The view from the porthole is complemented by shots of the cockpit, instruments and seats. I see the face of the photographer, as if accidentally falling into the frame. These are “right coincidences”, they not only make photos live, the “viewer” has the feeling that he is also traveling in Nepal, and the photographer is his friend, with whom they traveled every day at the same table. Simply put, these photos bring together. Once again, truthfulness is the main quality of this photo story about a trip to Nepal. I am glad that I almost accidentally came across a blog on this and came into contact with a real unadorned Nepal. I’m not sure that if I traveled to this Asian country myself, I would be able to objectively look at many things and see Nepal so realistic, vibrant, dusty in cities and pristine in the Himalayas. Incredible contrast!

Nepal remained a mystery to me unfortunately, I did not understand it. Yes, beautiful nature, but I did not have such admiration or spiritual insight as my friends had. But I do not give up, I plan to go there this fall and try to understand what this beautiful land attracts people like. But for now I can say that despite the fact that I did not appreciate all of Nepal merit, but I liked the city, or rather, the cultural life. Despite the fact that it is terribly dirty and there is absolutely no place, you can relax with your body there one hundred percent. We spent more than one evening in various bars and clubs and tasted more than a dozen cocktails and what is stronger. So if you are looking for bodily relaxation then you will definitely like Nepal. And as I already wrote, I plan to go there to relax spiritually. This time I’ll go alone or maybe with a friend who doesn’t really like partying. And we’ll visit more than one sacred place, as I remember there are a lot of them. I will hope that this time I can join something ancient and great. Because this year I’m completely tired of the joys of life and I want something more. And it seems to me that I can find it in Nepal, no matter how everything disposes to it. I will be glad to hear your recommendations on the trip of my character!

When I hear "Nepal" a country is teeming with people, where everyone is almost on each other's head. Their culture is still interesting, it is quite different from ours, and we just don’t understand some rites and their customs with our Russian mentality, which is why they cause such conflicting feelings. But man is a creature that can adapt to life in almost any environment. I really want to see photos of this interesting city again and again, because for me personally, who grew up in gray, sometimes boring Novosibirsk, they are very unusual for their color. It is always interesting, as if to spy on the life of a completely different people, on its manner of dressing, on a cultural and everyday way of life. Personally, I am very inspired by such moments. I guess you can immediately see the Russians there, we’re such a peculiar people, I would say))) Monkeys and their kids are so cool, although I don’t particularly like this type of animal, they’re funny here. Public cremation is generally strange, I never could have thought that this was not done in a narrow circle ... why this? I do not understand. Ashes into the river, and then people will swim there - brr! (((I especially liked the photo from the back seat of the car - it's just so atmospheric, it really hooked me!

That's what a person has long studied at school, despite the fact that he had a five in geography, he completely forgot where Nepal is. Africa was spinning in my head !!! But in fact, almost China, just not so prosperous. The tourist district of Kathmandu generally reminded me of what Shirpotrebovsky market. Everything is cramped, in a heap. The streets are already narrow, covered with advertising and some goods. In the next photo I saw a cow wandering around the city, this is already exotic! and the temple complex with monkeys is worth a look! How many of them! Photos of cremation jumped straight from the Middle Ages, it is impossible to watch calmly. Around it is rather dirty. disguised men also seem slightly unwashed. and in general, if it were not for the presence in the photo of white people in modern clothes, then one would think that the photos are paintings from the Middle Ages. The population, that men, that women in appearance are absolute Indians, I would not notice any differences. Here is an elderly woman, a salesman in a shop, a poured Hindu, on the forehead there is a speck and over the dress there is also a sari. And to the tourists, how they pester is visible in the photo. What is truly impressive is the temples, sculptures, the city from above and, of course, the mountains !!! I looked through all the photos with the mountains with great pleasure.

Thanks for the wonderful photos. It was especially interesting to look at the narrow streets with boutiques. Sacred cows and ordinary pigeons look impressive against the background of simple, rather poor streets. Particularly affected cremation photo. I immediately remembered how "magnificent" Indira Gandhi was burned. Her ashes were also scattered over the Ganges. And people are of the opinion that the waters of the Ganges are sacred. Yes, it can be seen in your photos that the water there is not transparent at all. It was very surprising that the ashes of all the dead are poured into this river and the monkeys eat it up. Photos with monkeys are very entertaining. The moment is caught up with Skoda, where two monkeys are sitting and the one on the left has such a worried expression of the face. And what interesting temple buildings. They built it with primitive tools, but it turned out very monumental, impressive and for centuries. Next to the figures of elephants and other mythical animals, you seem to feel like a bug. How I liked your photo with a woman in pink and red, a shop assistant. She would have known that people from distant Novosibirsk admire her beautiful face and pleasant smile. And how interesting the man looks in the photo, selflessly sewing some kind of update on a familiar sewing machine. Many have such a house. Often on the news I hear the name of this country, but still have not even imagined where it is, going here I saw a lot of interesting things thanks to the many photos and I immediately got an opinion about this country. The local population seemed good-natured, therefore, you can safely go there as a tourist, without fear for your life. And although there are no skyscrapers, water parks and other modern architectural structures there are a large number of ancient buildings and temples, which would naturally be interesting to visit, and at the same time photograph them yourself.
I especially liked the pictures with monkeys, I even called my daughter, who, like me, only saw them at the zoo, she was very happy and surprised that these animals live freely there, like our cats and dogs. Still impressed with the images of pigeons, the entire area and roofs of nearby buildings are covered with these birds. We also have them, but not in such numbers, and as we see, they are not at all afraid of people.
You can also buy a lot of souvenirs, which we have here in specialized stores, but they are probably ten times more expensive. I would like to thank the author of this work.

She went to Nepal a year ago, so I’ll tell you a little about my impressions. I went alone, my friends for some reason turned my nose from this country, give them resorts, beaches and round-the-clock sun. But I wanted some kind of exotic. I had a vacation in October. By the way, I think this is a very good time to relax. The weather is quite warm, but there is no rain and the view of the mountains is clear and cloudless. The first time was devoted to sightseeing in the capital of Nepal, Kathmandu. This is the famous Bodnath stupa and the famous Pashupatinanh temple or, as it is called in common people, the monkey temple. I lived in the Thamel area, there are many different shops, shops. You can buy anything. The main thing is to be able to bargain. But the people there are not crowded. Equipment for hiking in the mountains is sold at every step, as they usually come to Nepal to see the Himalayas. In general, Nepal seemed to me quite a tourist country. The service, of course, is not at the highest level, but there are no obvious flaws. The Nepalese themselves behave in a friendly and affable manner, but at the same time they do not become attached to you, begging for alms. The food is quite tasty, taking into account the tastes of tourists. I didn’t see something inedible.

Nepal is an unusual state, there is even a joke, but here, of course, I will not write it. But in general, the photo report is wonderful, someone wrote below that there are supposedly too many photos, the author, I beg, continue in the same vein, because there aren’t too many photos, and here the effect is created, as if I myself walked along the streets, visited all the most interesting places, such a feeling is simply priceless! I liked the fact that judging by the photographs there are not so many cars and there is simply an incredible expanse for motorcyclists - no one signals you, doesn’t try to crop, in general scooters and motorcycles for such a country are just as useful as a mode of transport. The fact that under the wing of the plane in the photographs there are simply no words to say how delightful it is! A small airplane with a stewardess in red - so there you can’t even stand at full height, is it? Men in a specific make-up are so cool, especially the one that holds fingers L-shaped looks original! Culture, of course, everything is clear here, it is too different for us and for them, which is why it causes such strong ambiguous emotions. Kathmandu turned out to be a little different from what I imagined it to be, although there is no reason to be surprised - a typical Asian town with its quirks and charm. Although, the place where corpses are burned can hardly be called the main charm of Nepal. If I had been to Kathmandu, this place is unlikely to fall into my tourist route. It seems that the place is so significant that the government can not do anything with it, so as not to lose credibility in the eyes of citizens. But the monkeys are everywhere and it pleases. I would never get used to the fact that monkeys, especially families, can freely walk around the streets of the city. Another difference is the huge number of these mummers who call themselves saints. Probably only in Nepal can you see this. For me, as for a person who has never been there, Nepal is an endless mountain, but perhaps this is the most important stereotype that breaks this photo report. Although, the Himalayas here also could not have done. They look majestic. Probably the best way to look at them from the window. In general, Kathmandu is a truly exotic city, a real edge of the world, although there are no edges in the literal sense of the word. Almost a different planet.

My wife and I went to Thailand last year, so I'm not very surprised by the Asian exotic, although, of course, the smell of fried meat and the dead feet sticking out from under the firewood are not the best moments in the life of tourist cities. But, everything has its own nuances. In principle, Nepal was considered by us as a possible place to travel, not so much for the sake of Hindu temples and a lot of exotic, it interests us a little. Basically, in fact, like most tourists visiting Nepal, we wanted to get to the Himalayas.
A few years ago we went to the Carpathians, made a route, climbed to a height of about 2 kilometers. There is a great desire to get to the Himalayas, to look at Everest. Of course, no one talks about climbing, we are not such steep climbers, but at least to touch the greatness of these famous mountains.

Everything is described succinctly and essentially, and it’s right, whoever wants to read the history of the state or some other order will open the Internet encyclopedia and read everything there, and the tourist report should have a lot of photos and small descriptions / feelings of what he saw.

OMG Mary, I am so envious!! I have alawys wanted to see Mt. Everest. I have been fascinated with that mountain and the pull it has on man to summit it. The amount of people that will risk their lives to stand on it's summit...a place where no human should be going due to the lack of oxygen. Wow.. what a great experience you just had.
